Infants to Preschool in Philadelphia, 6 weeks to 5 years.

At Liberty Learning Center, children from 6 weeks to 5 years learn through play. Teachers plan a curriculum for each age that builds social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Days include positive social interaction and time to explore the world around them. Staff hold early childhood training, from certification through college degrees, and some pursue further education or CDA certifications.

Rooms are set up for the age group in them. Babies have floor space to move and toys within reach. Toddlers find blocks, books and a place to sit together. Older children work at tables and in small groups, so the day moves between play, learning and rest. Teachers plan activities that fit what each group can do.

Staff are trained, from early childhood certification through four-year college degrees, and many are pursuing further education or CDA certifications. We accept CCIS, and staff are CPR and First Aid certified and have cleared all state mandated clearances. We follow Pennsylvania rules and regulations for child care facilities, and offer full time, part time and half day care.

Mornings start between 7:00 a. m. and 6:00 p. m., Monday through Friday. A child comes in, finds a familiar face, and settles into the room. A parent can call (215) 644-9934 to schedule a tour and see that drop-off moment. Families can also check in through the bright wheel app, with updates on eating, activities, sleep and pictures.

The middle of the day moves between play and small-group learning. Children eat, rest, and get time to move. Teachers plan activities that match the age group, so babies and older children each have a day built for them. A parent sees the details through the app.

Afternoon is quieter, with rest and free play before pickup. A parent hears what happened during the day, from eating and sleeping to the moment a child tried something new. We offer full time, part time and half day child care, and families can ask what fits their week.
