Call (215) 425-5122 or email ftlibertylearning@gmail.com. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. We will talk through what is open and what a schedule could look like. You can ask about pricing when you call.

Tour the room
See the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. Watch how the room is set up and where children spend their time. Ask what happens at drop-off, at meals, and at rest. Bring your questions about your child's age group.

Enroll and settle in
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. Start with shorter days if that helps your child adjust. Pack a change of clothes and something familiar from home. At pickup, ask the teacher how the day went.
What to have ready
Most families bring enrollment forms with current contact details and emergency contacts. You will also need a health form and your child's immunization record. List the people allowed to pick up your child, with phone numbers. If you are not sure what a form needs, ask us and we will walk you through it.
Pack a full change of clothes in a labelled bag, plus outdoor gear for the season. A hat, coat, and shoes your child can manage help on colder days. Nap items, if your child rests, should be labelled too. A small comfort object from home can make the first days easier.
Before the first day, decide who will drop off and who will pick up. Tell us the names of anyone authorized to collect your child. Think about how you want to hear about the day, and tell your child's teacher. A short morning goodbye routine helps everyone start well.
The first weeks
The first days often go best when they are shorter. A child may come for part of the morning and build up from there. Bringing a familiar object from home gives them something to hold. A teacher greets your child by name at the door.
At pickup, teachers tell you what your child did, ate, and how they rested. They will also share anything that came up during the day. Most children settle into the routine within the first few weeks. If your child needs more time, we will talk with you about it.

Can we visit before deciding?
Yes. A tour is the best way to see how the rooms are set up, meet the teachers, and watch the children play. Feel free to bring your child along so they can see the space too.
What should my child bring on the first day?
Most families pack a labelled change of clothes, a comfort item, and outdoor gear for the season. Nap items are labelled too. If your child is still in diapers, bring what they need for the day.

What does a typical day include?
A day is built around arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, outdoor time, and pickup. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. Children learn through play with a curriculum matched to their age. Ask us how the day runs in your child's room.
How will I know how my child is doing?
Teachers talk with you at pickup about how the day went. If you want more detail, ask your child's teacher. We can also share what you need to know about your child's day when you call.
What if there is no place right now?
If the age group you need is full, ask us to let you know when a place opens. We will contact you when something comes up.
What should I ask on the tour?
Ask about hours, meals, and who can pick up your child. Ask how the first weeks are handled and what the day looks like in your child's room. Write your questions down before you call or visit.
